Who We Are
We’re a nonprofit 501(c)3 Life Plan Community— or continuing care retirement community— that provides exemplary housing, amenities, health care and aging services to senior adults.
Tel Hai (meaning the ‘Hill of Life’ in Hebrew) is a vibrant, diverse and close-knit community with a long-standing reputation of providing exceptional, mission-inspired service.
Our Past
Our story began in 1950 when parishioners from Maple Grove Mennonite Church of Atglen and Conestoga Mennonite Church of Morgantown purchased a 120-acre farm for church-related activities. With intentions to better utilize the grounds, the Board opened a convalescent home, called The Tel Hai Rest Home, in 1956
After six decades of expansion, we’ve grown to offer distinctive accommodations and services including residential living (cottages, apartments & townhomes), personal care, respite care, memory support, health care, home care and short-term rehab & outpatient therapy services.
Our Future
We’re creating a future— together as team members— where residents aren’t just living but thriving! We provide them the opportunities, services and support to pursue their passions, discover new talents, and be the author of their future.
For team members, this creates a rewarding employment experience where diverse backgrounds, imaginative thinking and problem-solving is valued! Will you join us?
